On 19th November 2024 in Zurich, we had the immense pleasure of welcoming our member Simon Michel, CEO and Member of the Board at Ypsomed AG, and Member of the Swiss National Council, for a conference on the topic ‘Politics & Entrepreneurship’.
Simon shared a rare in-depth and very personal testimony with intimate insights into the family business and the family’s history and dynamics. He impressed us with his solution focused attitude, disciplined work ethic, deep respect of the rules and others, his openness to change and refusal of negativity.
His positive energy, his enthusiasm and passion for his family, the business and politics contaminated the audience and resulted in a very animated discussion around a variety of topics such as sustainability, governance, succession, politics – to name just a few.

At the same occasion, our Board Vladimir Moshnyager, Isabelle Chillier, Frutiger Thomas, FRICS, Xavier Bonna, Nicolas Staempfli and Jobst Wagner, with Martino Piccioli met for the last time this year, to prepare activities and strategy for 2025, which promises to be an exciting year for FBN Switzerland!
